Our terminal includes a 10-acre drop lot. The space is available for lease to local and national carriers and construction contractors on a month-by-month basis. Unique to other carriers, the drop lot also provides Smith Specialized Heavy Hauling Inc. the flexibility to provide short to intermediate term storage for loads with unique departure and delivery requirements.

Located in greater Chicagoland, our terminal is adjacent to major state and interstate highway truck routes; accommodating not only local but regional and national travel for our customers. Sitting on nearly 10 acres, our facility houses not only our own, in-house mechanics, but also a third party diesel repair shop. Together, they ensure our fleet is always ready for our customer’s needs. In addition the remaining outdoor yard space is utilized as a drop lot; accommodating nationwide commercial and owner/operator tractor trailer parking, as well as providing space for intermediate storage for our unique customer hauls.
